Do you want to build a career in nightlife? Are you community-driven and confident building networks? This is for you.

UNLOCKED: Promoters is a free, one-day development programme for aspiring promoters in Amsterdam, delivered by Resident Advisor in collaboration with IsBurning.

Through masterclasses led by local experts, participants receive a 360° introduction to organising club events - from booking artists and marketing shows to building communities and creating safer, more inclusive spaces.

The programme is free to attend, with limited capacity and priority given to underrepresented groups.

Resident Advisor and IsBurning will host a free promoter development event in Amsterdam next month.

Taking place on June 3rd at The Social Hub Amsterdam City, UNLOCKED: Promoters is a one-day programme designed to equip participants with the fundamentals of running a club night. The event will feature a series of talks and sessions led by Amsterdam-based promoters and industry professionals.

Confirmed speakers include:
BELLA, David Smeulders and Dine Mentel (BODY), Ilyas Fdis (Minor FM), Olga Zegers (WINK), Melisa Cenik (De School), Lot Stoelman (After Dark), Guido Janssen, Carlos Valdes and Thomas Vandewalle (IsBurning), Samuel King (TILLATEC) and Mila (Nightguides). The talks will be hosted by Olaf Boswijk (Trouw) and Maxine Penney alongside Resident Advisor's team Amy Van-Baaren and Robert van den Bildt.

Sessions will cover topics such as community and concept building, booking and programming, identity, launch and promotion, operations and logistics, safer spaces and a promoter spotlight on IsBurning.

Open to anyone interested in producing events, the programme does not require prior experience.

Applications close on May 17th, with responses sent by May 21st. Capacity is limited.

Founded in 2014 at the legendary Trouw, IsBurning has built an international reputation for its community-led approach and focus on emerging talent. The event forms part of the promoter's wider HEATWAVE programme.
